Details about Indian / Global artists network and rules of participation-2013
1
What is Indian / Global Artists Network? ---------------------------------------------
Global artists network has been formed by Indian artists network to expose creative talented artists in all other countries apart from India
Indian Artists Network is the largest not-for-profit organization of award winning, qualified, experienced and professional full time Indian artists settled in India or abroad. We have selected and exhibited artworks of National award winners, State award winners, Gold medalists at various levels as well as reputed art teachers from all over India. No one, except artists, are involved in administration and exhibition.
THE BASIC GOAL OF NETWORK IS TO EXHIBIT BEST OF OUR REPUTED ARTISTS ARTWORKS IN ART GALLERIES OUTSIDE INDIA with the help of art lovers, sponsors and art galleries abroad and partly through contributions from artists.
The most important feature of our exhibition is that all artists who are selected for exhibition and / or catalogs are promoted on internet FOR ONE FULL YEAR to thousands of art galleries and art lovers all over the world along with their email addresses and phone numbers so art buyers can directly contact our artists.
2
What is the most challenging part of International arts exhibitions abroad? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Standing in the art gallery in foreign country and proudly say “This is work of our talented artists” is the only single challenge in these exhibitions. We expect highly creative artists from all over India to participate in a big way in all our exhibitions abroad. Every year we deny hundreds of artists entry into our exhibition even though they are all ready to pay contributions for the exhibitions. Quality of artworks is extremely important and artists will be not selected just because they are ready to pay the required contributions.
3
What do we firmly believe in?
-----------------------------------------
1) Living with Dignity is the only Fine Art of Life. Everything else is a commercial art for survival.
2) If you love ART, look at body of the ART and not corners for Signature.
3) All types of creative arts are Sacred and Divine. None is superior to others.
4) Human life is far more precious that any great artwork or so called creativity
4
What are the highlights of previous exhibitions in Indonesia?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Every year our exhibition is inaugurated by H.E.Indian Ambassador of India and a grand party is thrown every year by Indian Cultural centre in Jakarta for the opening day of the exhibition. This year a classic Indian dance program was also arranged at the inauguration function at National art gallery of Indonesia in Jakarta.
2)We have sold more than 100 paintings so far in our exhibitions in Indonesia and all artists' money has been paid .
THE MOST IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHT OF OUR EXHIBITIONS IS THAT OUR ARTISTS HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY ART BUYERS ABROAD AND ACTUALLY PURCHASED PAINTINGS FROM OUR ARTISTS WITHOUT ANY COMMISSION TO ANYONE.
3) More than 2000 art lovers visited our exhibition in 2011 and more than 300 art lovers actually signed into our guestbook We publicise the event in all major mass media in Jakarta. This year 5 major newspapers/ 2 Major TV channels and 3 major website published news about our exhibition in Jakarta.
All press publicity scans will be sent to anyone who may be interested in them
4 )We are never responsible for any damage or loss of any artworks in our exhibition abroad but there has not been a single case of any loss of artworks in last previous 11 exhibitions.
6)Many highly brilliant but financially poor artists are included in the exhibition without any contributions from them.Since it's inception,Indian Artists Network has always promoted financially weaker artists who are highly creative. All such artists if selected need to do donate one high quality work to us in order to cover the cost of the exhibition. This too after passing through strict selection criterion.
