Kalasrishti artist residency is an artists initiative founded by visual artists from India, slightly different kind of programme as it organize in different places in India;almost in rural-area or interior regions where the Indian tradition lives.

We also provide opportunity to those who wants to explore Indian culture as well as traditional art and craft in a GURU-SHISHYA PARAMPARA or individual research project base study.

In this programme you will get opportunity to stay in an Artist's home and learn Rare traditional craft with its intricacy. We also provide accomodation for longer period to Individuals who are engaged in research based project in India.

The purpose of our programmes is to increase interaction between the rural and the urban situation with art and culture in rural Region with the available local materials. The concept of organizing the programmes at different places, got immense response, as it gives participant, a chance to explore,the cultural-diversity;learn about Indian rural-art and craft. each programme held at one or two places and participant can interact with the local artisan,their craft and live their life.
