Education: I was introduced very early to the world of colours, by my mother who herself is an Artist. Within her, I found a treasure house… of experience, expressions and tradition and my early Induction to Indian Fine Art, thus began. I graduated in Fine Arts from Punjab University, Chandigarh in the year 1999.

Style: On the basis of the forms, concepts and colours of the Bengal school, I have evoked my own style. My technique and works present my experimental attitude. I remain very much my own master with no direct and obvious influences of any ‘isms’. My world is full of human beings with their faith, needs, deprivations and nature, most of which depict a symbolic reference into their life. I strive to traverse the bridge between the traditional Indian Art and post-modern art practice. A staunch believer in the fact that neither art nor the artist can remain frozen in time, I believe that my entire creative enterprise is a journey through human history and evolution..... Typically, a ceaseless juxtaposition of the past, the present, and the future occurs with historical references and parallels constantly drawn alongside contemporary occurrence.
