ICONART Gallery initiates a unique six months Artist in Residency program.

The residency  is a common platform where working artists and art lovers can meet and enhance their talent and understanding about art practices and process as well as facilitate art shows at various art gallleries and events .

For the first time in Andhra Pradesh 15 artists are invited to work under one roof . Artists from different genres of painting , sculpture, photography , video art , pottery , printmaking will be working in a 6000 sqft studio space. Working space is provided for local artists .Acommodation and working space is provided for visiting guest artists .

Features :

1.            Interactive sharing among artists .Working together is an opportunity to share techniques, update information and enhance knowledge .

2.            Groups of artists from Mumbai, Chennai ,Baroda, Shantiniketan ,Kolkata , Kochi , Delhi will join local artists for week long interactive workshops and lectures .

3.            Art creations from the Residency program will be exhibited at ICONART .Prominent galleries all over India will be invited to exhibit artshows .

4.            Art Appreciation workshops will be conducted for art lovers,collectors in understanding Contemporary art practices and art history.

5.            A unique opportunity for the public to interact will working artists and de-stress through creative participation.
