what do you think motivates you to paint like that? do you think how you paint is more important than what gets created?

The painting that i send you below, dated 2003. I paint it using 3 person's body: me, my wife, and my model. I put naked body on wet paint on canvas, just like you. Please see my album,to have a comparison.

I really appreciate but shocked in same time, facing ur works. It's precisely similar techniques and ways with my last period of art works (1998 to 2008), using body as the way to works. Similar like you, I put my body and my models( naked) on wet oil paint on canvas, creating and capturing impression and imprint of body. Though rarely, i still use this kind of techniques till now combined with realistic subject matter as my recent period. Some art curators call this period as Body Print or Body Transformation; transforming the body's energy, shadow, and its movement, releasing all feeling directly to canvas. Event in some series i try to release the deepest feeling of human being in making love on canvas. I got very wide publicity and art critic local and international with this period, since my solo exhibition entitled " Muscle and Emotion" ( Indonesia, 2000), " Rhytm of Soul" (Malaysia, 2000), "Represented Bodies" (jakarta 2002), The Beppu Asia Biennale (japan 2003), Art Twente ( Holland, 2004), International CP Biennale (jakarta, 2003 and 2005), and many others. I want to share with you and everybody here with one of my work, dated 2003 ( third panel of my triptych, exhibited in CP Biennale Jakarta, 2003., and still to be my private collection. Keep work and explore to the limit, friend.

Regard
Nurkholis

That is a fantastic experiment. The visual outcome is extraordinary. Mind and body as a tool to paint is an absolutely novelty. Do take a good post painting remedial care of yourself. Keep it up I mean carefully up !!!!!!!!!

hi swamy,
you created the impressions in very vivid colors , your yoga exercises stamped really better abstract paintings than brush strokes. base color combinations are really superb , bright and vivid and attractive to see, i liked the paintings. wish you all the best in your career
